(We Love You) Old San Juan - A relief effort by bandmates and friends for the people in Puerto Rico affected by 2017’s destructive hurricanes.

The history of these two groups dates back to the fall of 1993 at UMASS Lowell. New Jersey boys, Tim Kochanski and Jesse Wallace entered the music program along with Puerto Rican natives, Yahuba Garcia & Milton Ruiz. They all played music in several different formations including the popular grunge/jam band, CottonMouth. Lowell musical connections also include all but one person (Braun) involved in this EP! After college, Jesse, Tim and Milton moved to New York City, forming more incestuous bands, including The Almighty Buck, with Puerto Rican native, Ricky Ortiz. Cool Fact: Ricky, Milton and Yahuba played in a band together in P.R. before the college days! Among the many groups formed was the rock opera, ‘The Eggmobile”, written by Ortiz. (You gotta hear it!) It included many of the musicians on this EP, was performed in a slew of NYC venues and most importantly, performed at the Museo de Arte de PR in San Juan. The trip inspired the song “Old San Juan” and the demo version (featured on this EP) was written and recorded there with the sounds of the city in the background.
