***Melrose Music Festival - Saturday, July 27th, 2:00-7:00pm

The Melrose Music Festival (formerly the Four Corners Music Festival) returns on July 27 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. The MMF is a family-friendly, outdoor event which will feature TWO STAGES of local musicians from all age groups, highlighted by the Peter Parcek Trio.

Peter Parcek’s daring, incendiary and soulful style is a distinctive hybrid. He weaves rock, gypsy-jazz, country, folk, and blues—especially blues—into a tapestry of melody, harmony, and daredevil solos that push those styles to their limits without sacrificing the warmth of his own personality.

Other performers include: Jeremy Van Cleave, Artisan Cheese, Salinger, Sam Chetkin, Molly Corr, Jesse DeLaurier, Eddie Miller, Samantha Zysk, Broken Leg Productions Casts, Sammy McQuaid and Ray Kochanski.

Starting at 2:00 p.m., bring a blanket, lawn chairs, cooler, and the family for an enjoyable day of local live music at the Cabbage Patch field, located in front of the Middle School at 360 Lynn Fells Parkway. There will be several fun bands as well as individual performances from talented Melrose residents of all ages. A community art project will lead by Follow Your Art Community Studios. Concessions and children’s activities will also be on hand!

This event is a great way to help connect neighborhoods while also further supporting our fine arts community. The Melrose Music Festival is sponsored by the City of Melrose and Waste Management Inc.
